Each day we will do 2 Yoga sessions (total of 13).The morning class will be strengthening and energizing Vinyassa Flow, ending with optional meditation. The late afternoon will be more relaxed, restorative and flexibility-enhancing, including sessions of Yin-Yoga and Yoga-Nidra. Be prepared for hot, humid weather that is perfect for growing your yoga practice and opening your body. No need for a heated room here to release those hips and shoulders!
If you are well established in your yoga practice, this might be just the thing to take you to the next level.
If you are just starting out, you will come away with a deeper understanding of yoga postures, and a body that is stronger and more open.
This is a Yoga Holiday! Unlike a Yoga Retreat, a Holiday is less structured, giving you lots of spare time to explore the surrounding area, play at your leisure, meet local people and make new friends. Local activities offered include:
surfing/lessons, diving, snorkeling, quad biking, kayaking, dhow sunset cruises, local markets, massage, beach picnics and sundowners. Tofu is well known for its Whale shark and Dolphin viewing as well as its fabulous surf and divine seafood. But of course we know you’re really only coming for the yoga!
The package is inclusive of:
Lots of beach time, 2 yoga sessions a day (total 13), 7 nights accommodation, 7 breakfasts, 4 group buffet dinners (vegetarians can be accommodated) - leaving 3 evenings to explore the local restaurants, or eat in if you choose.
Does not include:
Travel costs to and from Turtle Cove, visas (non-South Africans), lunches and the other 3 dinners, drinks/water, snacks, extra activities, laundry, local shopping.
There are direct flights from Johannesburg to Inhambane on LAM, and transfer between the airport and Turtle Cove can be arranged. It takes about 30mins.
